PURE CLASS A OTL HEADPHONE AMPLIFICATION

 

The headphone amplifier operates in pure Class A using an OTL (Output Transformer-Less) topology. Each channel employs a dedicated EL34 output tube operating without output transformers, providing faster transient response, lower coloration, improved harmonic integrity, superior spatial realism, enhanced microdynamic resolution, and wider bandwidth.

 

 

By eliminating output transformers, the design avoids the magnetic limitations commonly associated with conventional tube amplifiers, resulting in a more transparent, natural, and direct musical presentation. The entire amplification stage operates exclusively in the analogue domain and without global negative feedback.

INTEGRATED HIGH-RESOLUTION MUSIC SERVER

 

This system features a fully integrated high-resolution music server derived from the architecture of the MS-01 Music Server. It provides high-resolution streaming, local music library playback, NAS compatibility, Internet radio, USB playback, Volumio Premium integration, network streaming (including TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect), and multi-room capabilities.

 

The server has been engineered to operate seamlessly with the analogue headphone amplification stage, minimizing unnecessary interfaces, signal degradation, and noise contamination. The integrated DAC is based on the ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M architecture and supports PCM decoding up to 768 kHz and DSD512.

 

To maximize sonic performance, the digital section employs independent analogue and digital power supplies, minimizing interference between the two domains.

HEADPHONE OUTPUTS

 

The amplifier features two independent headphone outputs: standard 1/4-inch headphone outputs and a dedicated balanced 4-pin XLR headphone output.

 

For maximum sonic performance and optimal operation, Margules recommends using the balanced output, which provides improved channel separation, lower noise, greater dynamic performance, enhanced harmonic coherence, and superior spatial imaging.

 

For the ultimate listening experience, this balanced connection is especially recommended when paired with Margules headphones such as the U4.

CONTROLS & CONNECTIVITY

 

The amplifier provides analogue and digital connectivity for seamless system integration. An analogue stereo auxiliary input accepts external analogue sources, including DACs, phono preamplifiers, CD players, portable music players, smartphones, and external streamers, while preserving a pure analogue signal path.

 

A dedicated line-level analogue output enables the integrated high-resolution music server to operate as an independent source for integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, active loudspeakers, or external power amplifiers.

 

A volume control allows adjustment of the amplifier output level.

ANA™ (Aligned Neuro-Acoustics) is a proprietary Margules design philosophy focused on the way the human brain perceives sound. WARRANTY

Like all the Margules products, The Oria headphone amplifier comes with a five-year limited warranty on parts and labor excluding the tubes, which are covered by a three-month warranty.

 

Terms and Conditions

 

The warranty does not cover any damage, wear or malfunctioning caused by lack of compliance with the operation specifications included with this equipment, or any of those resulting from:

 

  • Accidents, natural disasters or events that happens due to natural causes.
  • Misuse, abuse of or negligence regarding the equipment.
  • Fault in the initial set-up and installation, incorrect maintenance, and/or inadequate cleaning of the product.
  • Repairs, modifications, or renovations performed by people or companies not expressly authorized by Margules Audio.
  • Damage during shipping, transport, packaging, or manipulation of the equipment. In this case, all damage claims must be submitted to the carrier company.
  • Any other cause not attributable to a manufacturing defect of the product.

 

The warranty covers exclusively the expense corresponding to labor and the material necessary to the repair or, give the case, the substitution of the equipment (at the discretion of Margules Audio), and thus it does not extend to:

 

  • Accessories, including but not limited to: batteries, cables, mounting hardware, brackets, furniture, cleaning accessories, antennas or dismountable feeding cables.
  • Shipping costs in case the owner needs to return the unit to Margules Audio for the purpose of service or repair of a possible defect.

 

The warranty shall be void if:

 

  • The serial number of the equipment has been altered, modified, or deleted.
  • The product has been purchased from a person or company that is not an authorized distributor of Margules Audio.

 

This warranty extends to products directly purchased from Margules Audio or an authorized distributor.
